REI’s online Outlet store has Carson VP Series 8 x 42mm Binoculars at "extra deep discount" for $71.73 with free shipping. This online-only price ends on 2/3. (Website currently still shows $10 off $50 promo, but that ended on 1/25 and won’t apply to this item.) REI site says the list price is $240, which is meaningless, as they usually sell for $125 to $150 at most places. (Currently $132 at Amazon .) Still, this price is much lower than the same model at any other legitimate seller.
No these aren’t up there in optical quality with $1000+ (or even $500) binos, and they’re not ED glass, but for the price they’d be hard to beat.
