I was looking at the recent Shun knife deal, my wife wasn’t very happy with the premium price so I checked the Nexus with BD1N steel. There’s also a 15% discount when signing up for emails as well (bottom-right corner of the page). I ended pulling a Nakiri and a Santoku (same price) for free shipping. Received them yesterday, I can hear a very satisfying sound running my finger across the blade, really good quality and super sharp. My wife is still cautious from using as these are way sharper than our existing knives (Wusthof Gourmet, DXO, …) With limited testing so far, these obviously hold edge way better than my others.
