I recently bought a set from my local Costco. The pivot lights come with 700mAh 16340 cells that appear to be protected. I ran a capacity test on them using my smart charger; both registered slightly over their rated capacity with one being 736 and the other being 744 mAh. All the lights have some PWM on low — and the low isn’t very low really. Otherwise they appear to be solidly built (li-ion powered) flashlights that perform very well for the price.
