Product Description

Lawrence of Arabia Winner of 7 Academy Awards® including Best Picture of 1962, LAWRENCE OF ARABIA stands as one of the most timeless and essential motion picture masterpieces. The greatest achievement of its legendary, Oscar®-winning director David Lean (1962, Lawrence of Arabia; 1957, The Bridge on the River Kwai ), the film stars Peter O’Toole — in his career-making performance — as T.E. Lawrence, the audacious World War I British army of cer who heroically united rival Arab desert tribes and led them to war against the mighty Turkish Empire. Dr. Strangelove Nominated for four Academy Awards® including Best Picture (1964), Stanley Kubrick’s black comedy about a group of paranoia-inspired, war-happy generals who manage to initiate an “accidental” nuclear apocalypse, is horribly frightening, delightfully funny and surprisingly relevant to this day. This is the saga of two psychotic generals: Joint Chief of Staff “Buck” Turgidson (George C. Scott) and Air Force Strategic Commander Jac

Literally the best 4k set in existence

Literally the best 4k set in existence
*Edit Thursday, June 25th 2020*So now that I have the offical product I can review it properly.Lets start what it comes with.... You have your box, the backer card comes off nice and easy no damage to the front and it opens up to reveal the Columbia Pictures logo were it has the booklet that is exclusive to this set inside. It opens and closes with some magnets I think. You have 3 movies on each side and each movie has its own slipcover which is a big plus many people will like..... But do keep in mind that both Lawrence of Arabia and Gandai have 2 4k disks and 2 blu ray disks for each so the disks are stacked in their cases which some people many not like as much. Either way far better packaged than per say the star wars skywalker saga 4k set..... And it also comes with a bonus dvd and 1 sheet of 6 codes for all 6 movies in this set.So I only watched 3 or the movies so far from this set.1. Dr Strangelove, really solid 4k movie, but if you have seen the arrow video version of this movie on blu-ray it looks 99% the same with this version having the added HDR making it slightly better.... So ya it's a great looking 4k movie.2. Mr Smith Goes to Washington, there was a bit of softness, but not too much were almost everything about this movie in 4k looks fantastic... The HDR really does look amazing with these black and white movies.3. Laurence of Arabia, looks absolutely fantastic in 4k! But then again same with Dr Strangelove, the blu-ray version of this movie looks almost the same as the 4k version.... However with this 4k version the HDR really does stand out a lot more here than Dr Strangelove in terms of enhancing the movie, so it is more of a noticeable improvement from the blu-ray version to the 4k version and it looks absolutely fantastic because of it. Great movie also btw, but a bit slow for my place in terms of which movie I liked most from this set I think I'll prefer Gandi over this.In any case all of the movies that I have watched from this set so far has been absolutely amazing a 10/10 set most defently get it.As for the booklet itself is also great, as you can see from the photos it's not just a few paragraphs but rather a whole bunch to read about all 6 movies very nice addition to this set.Overall I would recomend this set to any 4k collector really, it really is the best 4k set in the market right now.
