I read this book when I was 19 and fell in love with gaimans writing. I had been familiar with his comics but was hesitant to read his work due to how picky I am with the medium (if I don't like a writing style I can't bring myself to get past chapter 1. But he lives up to his status with every sentance. and the ending deffinitly had me surprised, and satisfied.

I preferred American gods more, but Anansi boys was fantastic in it's own right. Light hearted at points, and darkly poignant at others. Great character chemistry, and vivid details about the landscape lead to a amazing read.

Good book, but didn't keep my attention like 'American Gods' or 'Good Omens'.
