I got a Dewalt planer DW734 today for $250 at my local Home Depot. I also got the 10% military discount, so I ended up paying $225 for it.
This is an *EXTREME* ymmv, with scarce inventory at this price, but a few weeks ago I saw them on clearance in zip codes in HI, DE & NJ, so I decided to share here along with the steps for you to verify availability without needing to drive to the store:
1. Check Brickseek link to see if your local Home Depot shows it as Clearance (with no price listed) and with stock available

2. Call that Home Depot and speak to a human and ask them to key in the price to verify the price. (i just paid $250 for one in 08807 and their automated phone system says it it $449, but it rings up $250, so again, you need a human to key in the barcode because the phone system is not quoting the same price as my yellow clearance sticker.
I was tempted to post this when it was at the higher clearance price, but I know it’s almost a needle in a haystack, but damn when i saw it today for $250 and they adjusted my $350 receipt from a few weeks ago, I had to share.
