Worth well more!

I tried a couple different fuzz pedals and one for some reason I could not get to work with my rig and I did not like the tones I was getting from the other.
I saw this on sale, so I watched a few videos and bought it hoping it would be worth the price. It is way worth it! Great sounding tones. One thing I should mention, which wasn't a problem for me, but the pedal is a bit big. It's a little bigger than the Boss footprint. I have it on my top row so there were no issues with patch cables or cable to my power supply.

As good as advertised sofar.

Good sounding pedal for the price. No issues and works well with other gain pedals. I own all 13 of the first batch of these style pedals from TC. Some are better than others but none are bad.

Excellent Si Fuzz Face

This is ideal for live playing. It's buffered. Built like a tank. Has the volume and midrange to stand out. Almost Tone Bender Mark II territory. Does not do Germanium clean up thing with tone knob.

The fans will not know if it's Dunlop or TC. But it's better than the Dunlop if you're playing live.

Ultimately I went with BOG fuzz because that fuzz circuit has the best mid range cut (and Jimi vibe) if you can play that style.

Really Good Fuzz

Heres the thing-this is a great great fuzz pedal and just goes to show that money isnt necessarily required to make something great. It takes a certain amount to make a pedal sturdy and high quality but weve seen so many times how that doesnt make one sound good. This thing does the "dime the fuzz, turn the volume up, and use your guitar vol knob" to clean up thing perfectly. It works great with a clean amp. Works great with a uni-vibe in front of it. Sooner or later these things will get their due.

Outstanding "broken speaker" sound!

I LOVE this pedal. If you're looking for a lo-fi small-broken-speaker fuzz sound, this pedal simply nails it. (Think Jack White or Queens of the Stone Age's Josh Homme.) It's hard to dial in a tone that doesn't sound awesome, and stacking dirt pedals on top of this thing creates tones that are just gnarly as hell. For that reason, I highly recommend making this the very first pedal in your gain chain -- otherwise you won't get the pedal's full effect (impedance-sensitive pedals aside). Easily my new favorite pedal, and worth every penny.
