Bought an X-Chair yesterday and, in a conversation with their online chat, I asked if they had an additional discounts. The rep gave me a coupon code for $150 off: Save$150ES. So, got to thinking that it wasn’t cleverly formatted and thought I’d try some other discount values.
The format is "Save" + discount + initials of chat rep. After some trial and error, I found the codes for the following:
$250 Off: Save$250ES
40% Off: Save40%ES
Other initials I tried that worked: CC and JF.
Between this and the Amex $100 off $500, I was able to get about half off (before tax).
X3 with Extended Seat Price: $1004.99
Black Non-Locking Wheels: $54.99
40% Off: -$423.99
Tax: $47.86
Amex $100 Off: -$100.00
Total: $683.85
YMMV as they are bound to figure this out and change it at some point. But, in the meantime, I have a tracking number and FedEx picked up my box.
