This router has been this price for a while now, but CCC still doesn’t show it as so.
So, I figured I’d give others here a shot in case they might have been unaware.
I have owned several of these for a while. They’re far better than ratings and reviews might tell you on YouTube (but we all know how that works).
Personally, I keep certain bits in these, and never take them out. I’m up to 7 now after buying 4 more at this price. it doesn’t come with the plunge system, so you will need to buy that separate (for more than the cost of the router actually) but I personally don’t use Plunge systems on compact routers.
I consider this router slightly lower than the Bosch colt (the 1-¼hp… not the 1hp. The 1hp is blahhh) for corded palm routers. I consider the Cordless Makita the best of the cordless (under $300) and Bosch doesn’t make a (18v) router, and they’re not planning on doing on… but if you don’t mind the cord, it is an Amazing little guy.
