Repair Terms and Conditions

  1. Introduction
    • Samsung’s Smartphone Repair Promotion (the “Promotion”) will provide customers one of the following:
    • (1) $99.99 + Tax cracked screen repair for a Galaxy S series device that is Galaxy S9 model year or newer, a Galaxy Note series device that is Galaxy Note9 model year or newer, or a Galaxy A Series (excludes all Galaxy S and Galaxy Note models prior to S9).
    • (1) $249.99 + Tax cracked screen repair for a Galaxy Z series device.
  2. Services
    • Cracked screen repairs under this Promotion shall include the replacement of damaged/cracked front display only. The replacement of the PBA inside the phone or any repairs needed as a result of water damage are not covered under this Promotion. Additional repairs may be approved for additional cost; we will contact you before undertaking any repairs not covered by this promotion.
  3. Eligibility
    • To be eligible for the Promotion, customers will be required to have a Samsung Account, not applicable to California residents, and start the repair process via the Samsung website, using the Mail-In or Walk-In Service option. For authorized Best Buy locations, Customers must set up an appointment on BestBuy.com or have a repair request created when walking in.
    • This promotion may be redeemed at Samsung Authorized Walk-In service repair locations which are listed as ‘Authorized Service Centers’ here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/locations/
    • This offer is only applicable to residents of the 50 states of the United States of America and Washington, D.C.
  4. Participation
    • To participate in the Promotion, customers can start the discounted repair process by logging on to https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service with their Samsung Account. If customers do not currently have a Samsung Account, they can create one on the website.
  5. General Conditions
    • Promotion is valid for repairs that the customer requests from 9/12/2022 to 9/26/2022 only, and may be terminated without notice. Valid via Samsung authorized Mail-In Service and Walk-In Service, while supplies last. No rain checks will be given. Promotion valid for UBREAKIFIX, Samsung authorized Best Buy locations, or Samsung Branded authorized repair locations.
    • Promotion not valid for on-site repair van services or any other locations not authorized for repair by Samsung. Repairs for this promotion can only be set up on Samsung.com. Any repair initiated at a Samsung Authorized repair location without an appointment setup on Samsung.com will be charged the standard repair price associated with the applicable device model and symptom. Resellers, corporations, businesses, and/or bulk repair service requests are not eligible to receive repairs in the Promotion. Promotion only applies to U.S. Samsung mobile cellular device models. Devices that have PBA damage, have liquid/corrosion damage, or are international models are excluded from this Promotion. Tablets, laptops, watches, and non-phone products are also excluded. Mobile devices that are found to contain unauthorized parts or software will be excluded. This offer cannot be combined with any other discounts or coupons, and can only be used once for a single repair. Savings exclusive of applicable taxes.
    • Additional fees may apply if the device is found to have damage not covered under this Promotion or if additional services from the participating location are required; we will contact you for approval to perform additional services. In the case where additional services are declined, we cannot proceed with the repair under this Promotion and we will return the unrepaired device to you.
    • All customers, except California residents, who receive repairs under this Promotion agree to receive follow-up email and/or SMS communications from Samsung with a survey and eCertificate that customers may use to purchase additional products on Samsung.com.
    • All repairs completed by Samsung are completed with Samsung authentic OEM service parts and are repaired by Samsung Certified Pros.
    • Employees and Contractors of Samsung Electronics America, Inc. are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.

Promotion FAQs

Does this promotion include replacement of a cracked back glass?

No.  This promotion only covers displays that are cracked or have cosmetic damage to the front of the device.  Devices mailed to Samsung with a cracked back glass will be ineligible for this promotion.  Customers will be contacted for payment options for back glass replacement.

Is this promotion specific to devices purchased on Samsung.com?

No.  Participation in this promotion is not dependent on a specific retailer or carrier the device was purchased from, but the device must be a US device.

Will my battery be replaced as part of this promotion?

No.  Battery replacement is not included as part of this promotion.  Devices mailed to Samsung that need a battery replacement will be ineligible for this promotion.  Customers will be contacted for payment options for battery replacement.

Can I redeem this promotion at a Samsung authorized walk-in service location?

Yes.  This promotion is currently available at Samsung authorized locations listed here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/locations/

How can I ship a device to Samsung for this promotion?

When setting up a ticket on Samsung.com (https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/) you will be given an option to have a box shipped to you with a return shipping label to ship your device to Samsung. 

 

Or you will also be given the option to use a QR code and go to a The UPS Store to have the device packaged and shipped to Samsung.

 

Shipping charges are included in the price for the promotion. 

What if my device has damage not covered under this promotion?

A price change may occur if your device has a condition not covered under this promotion (for example, cracked back glass, liquid damage, or other non-warrantable damage). If this occurs, you will receive a phone call to the number used to create the repair request, to seek your approval  for any additional services or changes in price before any charges are made.  

 

Your device may be returned to you unrepaired if we are unable to contact you regarding price changes.
