I’m sure this is going to get a bunch of thumbs down even though I haven’t been able to find it posted on SD before. But the people who get it will appreciate it.

It will require you to enter payment info to check out even though it is a free item. You probably will not get an email confirmation even though the order status says that an email with activation info was sent. A lot of people have reported this in various places on the internet (which I discovered after I didn’t get an email).
I contacted BBY via chat and they gave me an activation code. Then Iogged in at tv.apple.com and somewhere in the account settings I found a place to enter a promo code. Sorry I can’t tell you exactly where at this point. It accepted the activation code and stacked it onto a free seven day trial so I get 3 months plus a week. It will renew at $4.99 per month unless you cancel.
