I am not sure if this is widely known or not, so I thought I would share in case anyone else would benefit. I was browsing through the google play store today, and happened to notice that you can convert your "play points" to "play credit".
The benefit, as far as I can tell, is that allows you to convert the game currency to actual Google play credits which can be used across more digital products, like videos, tv etc…
The conversion is 100 ‘play points’ to $1 in ‘play credits’.
The real benefit is that if you are a gold member (those of you who took advantage of the google storage deal a while ago), you can earn a weekly bonus of play points by clicking a button . The amount of points you earn varies from week to week, and I had been ignoring it, but now that I know I can convert my play points to play credits, they just became a whole lot more interesting , lol.
To redeem, click my link I provided then scroll down until you see the "Google Play Credit" option. Redemption starts at 100 points .
