For those new to the Ryobi/Ridgid/DTO game:
- "factory blemished" usually means "new" and comes with full 3-year warranty, the same as buying new from Home Depot.
- "factory reconditioned" usually means a Home Depot return. Sometimes they’re fine, sometimes they’re trashed, sometimes they’re broken or out of alignment. (It’s cheaper to just resell returns as "reconditioned" than it is to have techs inspect and repair everything.)
