I’ve used a lot of epoxy over the past 30 years… never this brand though. I mainly used Aftcote as a high end fishing rod designer.
I’m not expecting this to be as good as a $300 gallon of epoxy, but for $22 it might be good for experimenting. Or making woodworking jigs.
Either way, I ordered one, and my wife ordered another. So hopefully it’s good enough. If not, it has Free Prime Shipping and Returns.
The negative reviews say it hardens immediately and became extremely hot. In my experience, that often means they tried to make too much at one time. So I’m going to assume it’s a thin pour. in that case, you have options in using….
One option: Denatured Alcohol. The DA will thin the epoxy and keep on a bit cooler as it cures.
2nd option: Simply Mix Less. Try to limit it to less than 4oz total (2oz + 2oz)
