Picked two of these at Costco in La Quinta, CA today for $800 each.
Was randomly traveling with my family in the dessert this long weekend, and stopped by Costco to look for other stuff. Most of the TV deals were meh, but I did a double take when I saw the $800 price for the 65" Sony A80J. The listed price was 800.00, and the trailing "00" indicates manager special to get rid of last few units.
I grabbed the last two new in box units, but they still had one display unit for the same price.
YMMV but wishing others luck on this deal. Probably the best TV deal I’ve ever gotten (though I love my 85" Samsung QN90A for about $2k from the Samsung with education discount). Attaching my receipt in case it helps others.
