I took a flyer on this knife a few years ago after Cook’s Illustrated raved about it and they were right — it runs circles around my very expensive German bread knife, thanks to a great quality blade and a very wide-set wavy serrated pattern. Who cares if it doesn’t match my other knives? I use it almost every day.
