This is the black color version (the Eneloop Pro version) of the NYT’s Wirecutter’s top rated Ni-MH battery charger at I own one of these (in white) and love it. It’s a no-fuss, reliable fast charger that you can actually trust not to damage your Ni-MH batteries — vs many of those generic chargers you’ll find on Amazon and eBay.
Amazon’s price is close to it’s all-time low of $18.50 which dates back to 2018. Note that while Amazon shows the list price on the black version to be about $25 – note that the white version of this charger is currently being sold by Amazon for $33.48 – and that’s sold-by-Amazon’s price.
