This is one of Home Depot’s Special Buy of the Day for May 21, 2023.

While this is not at an all-time low price, it’s still a pretty good price for this highly popular and well-rated product. Heading into the summer time, it’s better to have this already instead of struggling to find this product during the heatwaves of the summer. By that point it’s possible it may be out of stock then.

Update: Note this is the bucket top variant of the fan–it hasn’t been smaller or larger over the years. Upon further researching this product, I found out that this model PCL851 is a *newer* version of their portable bucket fan that seems to be based off the design of the new WHISPER series fan PCL811. It is 44% quieter and possibly more powerful (not confirmed, but if it uses the same tech as the PCL811 versus the older P3320 , there’s some improvement in CFM).
