YMMV Lowes just marked down the Trufuel 32oz ethanol free unleaded gas in the metal cans. Some stores are now 75% off with lots of stock around me.
Sure you can buy pump gas and additives to keep it good for a short while but this stuff is great for smaller engines you don’t use all the time that might benefit from long gas life and small engine additives. I bought some for my generators just in case.
Manufacturer says it lasts at least 5 years while sealed up. Cheap insurance to keep a can or two on hand if you own a gas generator or need to keep a container on hand just in case you have a "run out of gas situation" (but I wouldn’t normally suggest carrying gas in the trunk of your car all the time).
