Always saw this on TV as a kitchen standard. Seems to be the favorite of professional chefs and enthusiasts. Also one of America’s Test Kitchen’s favorites.
Had to wait a while for it to come down to around this price. I don’t use mine as often as I thought, but it makes perfect uniform, thin cuts for my food dehydrator. Has been great for my apple chips and persimmon chips recently.
Super sharp. It even slices through the apple seeds. Recommend getting a cut-resistant glove as well. The hand-guard is pretty useless.
Most reputable places still sell this on sale for $60+ without free shipping.
