Major airlines such as American, Delta, Hawaiian and United have round trip airfares travelling to and from Los Angeles (LAX) and Kauai Hawaii (LIH) for $301, nonstop. These are all basic fares. On American, Delta and Hawaiian, you are allowed a personal item that fits under the seat in front of you and a carry-on bag. On United, you are only allowed a personal item. If you are travelling with children on AA, Hawaiian or UA, you will be seated together as per their policy. Delta decides this on a case-by-case basis.
The earlier months are mostly on United, but check often because competitor airlines tend to match.
