Anthem’s Flagship Home Theater receiver – 11 channels of amplification.
There’s a 20% off from Father’s Day sale for Anthem products. This is the lowest it’s ever been, previous lowest was $3570 last November. I recently bought at full price from Crutchfield at $4200 but luckily they were able to price match to this and refund me the difference. It’s ARC genesis room calibration is equivalent to Dirac Live + subwoofer and you don’t have to pay extra. This is one of the best receivers you can get.
There are tons of raving reviews for this AVR.

The MRX 740 and 540 are also 20% off too, and I included the links for those.

Anthem’s flagship receiver is an A/V masterpiece
Anthem’s top-of-the-line receiver just got an 8K upgrade — all 10 HDMI connections (7 in and 3 out) support 8K at 60Hz and 4K at 120Hz. The MRX 1140 8K doesn’t skimp on audio quality either — it offers exceptional signal processing, amplification, and room correction, along with an advanced digital to audio converter. It also has a fantastic web-based control system, allowing you to set up and control your system from your computer or smart device.
Enjoy theater-quality Atmos surround sound at home
The MRX 1140 8K is capable of driving up to 11 speakers at the same time. That means you can power an ultra-immersive 7.2.4-channel Dolby Atmos or DTS:X™ system, with up to four upward-firing or in-ceiling speakers for overhead effects.
Plenty of power for each channel
Five of the receiver’s channels feature a Class AB design and are rated at 140 watts per channel with two channels driven. They’re well-suited for high-performance stand-mount or floor-standing speakers.
The other six channels use Class D amplification and are rated at 60 watts per channel with two channels driven. That’s plenty of power for surround and overhead channels that reproduce less-demanding portions of a movie’s soundtrack.
A high-quality toroidal power supply helps ensure top-notch sound from each channel.
High resolution video and audio quality
The MRX1140 8K’s HDMI 2.1 connections allow 8K video passthrough or 4K at an ultra-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. These connections also support HDR (High Dynamic Range) formats like Dolby Vision, so you’ll be able to maintain premium picture quality from your UHD Blu-ray player or next-gen game console through to your TV. With eARC (enhanced Audio Return Channel), it can also receive uncompressed audio signals — including Dolby Atmos — from your eARC-equipped TV.
Music will sound exceptional, as well, thanks to the audiophile-grade 32-bit/768kHz DAC.

Intuitive web-based controls
One of the features that makes Anthem’s receivers stand out from the crowd is their user-friendly control interface. Access it from a web browser or download the new Anthem Remote app (currently available as a public beta). You can adjust settings, select inputs, toggle Anthem Room Correction, and more.
Advanced room calibration with ARC Genesis
The MRX 1140 8K includes the company’s own highly regarded ARC (Anthem Room Correction) Genesis software — one of the industry’s best room-correction platforms.
ARC Genesis measures the acoustics of your room with the included microphone, and then fine-tunes the output of your system to match the unique sonic characteristics of your space. The resulting sound is clear, smooth, and ultra-detailed, with tight bass and high-impact dynamics.
