Lowes – Scotts Snap Pac 7-lb Grass Seed $4.27 YMMV, most likely North East.

I did search a few zip codes and this does not look to be wide spread, some stores in NY; MD and NJ have it. I am also thinking not many people are looking for grass seed in Feb but what the heck
Item # 39976 Model # 12810, but looks like it ends up being Model # 13000

Some stores have the Scotts snap pack grass seed on further discounts, they have been on sale for a while in my area for in store pick up. Normal price is around $30 for the 7lb bags. Search for both types are it differs by store.
I ordered some at $6, used $15 off $50 to get it to $4.27. But I noticed $7.50 in other store’s and Staten Island NY had a couple for $1.87.
I also used e Bates for 2.5% cash back. I heard some other sites give you more on Lowe’s but this is the one we’ve been using.
Follow below thread for the coupon.
You don’t need the snap pack machine, I’ll just cut it open and dump it in my spreader.
The 1st issue I found is that the numbers say Blue Grass but you probably will actually get a Sun and Shade mix as I did, but still worth it at that price.
The 2nd issue I found is it is expired on some, if not all bags. But a lot of times when retested it is OK or has a reduced germination rate than that on the bag.
I’ve brought expired grass seed before and it’s always germinated. But it is a bit of a gamble buying it in Feb and having to wait even longer to use it.
Obviously YMMV and your growing results may differ…
