I recently bought this after looking hard for a deal on Simrad Fishfinder/Chart Plotters. This is a small 5" unit, but it can be flush mounted to your dash and it will connect via built in wifi to Tablet. I am using a huge tablet as my main screen. I have tried a 12.2 Samsung Note Pro, and even the Galaxy View 18.3" screen.
Effectively, if you use a tablet, you can get a big screen display (touch screen and very responsive) for thousands less than typical big display fish finders.
This one includes a transducer, and the built in Insight basemaps, which are very good for being included for free.
This is a very very good chartplotter for the money. It has advanced features like Chirp, internal GPS and WIFE.
