Alright, this is my first thread so be gentle.
This is not my first rodeo with the Samsung Tab S4. Last week I had the stores price matching new Tab S4s to open box prices because the ones they sold me (online at a store location) all sudden were not in stock. Ended up with two of them for the price of a new one.
Today I went to a different store today to try my luck again. However when they were checking stock the price was showing $260. I thought that was open box and said something about it. The sales rep said that it was new in the box. I did not believe him so he plugged it into their store system and it showed as $260 in store, new. We were both shocked.
The catch was another store had, that store was out. I quickly rushed over there and talked to the samsung rep and store manager, they said that they had one new Tab S4. When the rep brought it back out he was telling me it was $450. I told him no, that it was $260. He said that was for open-box, i told him to scan the system and check. He did and got wide-eyed. He couldn’t believe it, going on about how he needs to buy one. Then he and messaged all his friends about it.
Anyways take it as YMMV but have them check the price in store, in the system. Do not settle for the website and price tag.
