Western Digital SN550 1TB m.2 PCIe NVME SSD (backordered) $99.99

Amazon has the Western Digital SN550 1TB m.2 PCIe NVME SSD for $100, in stock Feb 6. This is an excellent price on a well-reviewed mainstream m.2 PCIe NVME SSD that uses TLC (not QLC) NAND. (Remember to use the 20% Amex Membership Rewards discount or Discover offer if you have those, so for some this could potentially be $80.)

(Note: Because Amazon itself is backordered for this item, it may not be the seller that shows up first in the buy box, in which case choose Amazon from the list of sellers.)
The use of TLC means this should perform better (esp. for very large writes) and last longer (in terms of terabytes written) than similarly priced QLC drives, like the Intel 660p and Crucial P1. Samsung 970 EVO and the like will be faster, but for mainstream users there won’t be a noticeable difference.
Western Digital’s own store also had this for $100 but out of stock for a long time now (and cannot backorder). $125 and up at other retailers.
