SW Chicago suburb (Homer Glen, IL) location had 10 left.
I went to my local HD looking for Ridgid 2 tool kits for our dads for Father’s Day, as well as looking for the Chamberlain B970 for ourself. Started at the first and wasn’t able to find the chamberlain in stock, but ended up picking up (2) Ridgid R9780′s (18V Brushless SubCompact Drill Driver and Impact Driver Combo Kit with (2) 2.0 Ah Batteries, Charger and Bag) for $199/each.
Went to the next HD to get the Chamberlain and went in through the lumber entrance. In front of the plywood, there was a stack of ~12 Ridgid boxes marked down from $299 -> $179. Of course I had to check it out, and found it was the R9205′s. Obvious differences from the R9780′s were the upgraded drill to Hammer Drill and upgraded run time batteries from 2.0 Ah to 4.0 Ah. Ended up buying (2) R9205′s and returning the R9780′s.
BTW, the location I found these at do not show any in stock according to the HD website, so YMMV and may be worth checking your local store if you’re interested.
