Staples has an HP 17.3" laptop on sale for 25% off this Labor Day if anyone is looking for a cheap one. I like the large screen because my eyes aren’t getting any sharper, and my lap isn’t getting any smaller
It specs out well for the money. I am not big on HP laptops but I picked up one of these for my wife who just surfs and isn’t very hard on them like I am. It is only an i3 but it is the newest series so is a bit faster than the old i5-1035G1 IIRC.
