I am not sure how this product can go full charge and run great and after 2 uses the RPM of the head is cut in half but will last another week after than I don't know if the product is faulty by any means but I had a higher end oral B model and it was great until something magically bad happened to it and it broke. this is the replacement I purchased. It works great but no charging indicator and one speed

I got this in October of 2014. It is now Christmas 2020 and I still have not had an issue with it. It stops and vibrates every two minutes like it's supposed to, which is annoying at first if you're doing a longer brush. But you get used to it.

After I've finished brushing my teeth, I take the head off the handle, and run it under the tap. I run the peg on the handle that the brush goes on, and do the same thing. I shake the head off and put it back on the base. This keeps the brush and base clean. I demonstrated this 5 second process to a friend with the same brush when they wondered how it was so clean They declared it to be too much trouble. However, their base was hard to find under a 3mm-thick film of toothpaste (gross).
Just taking that 5 extra seconds to rinse things will keep it looking like new, and keep it hygienic.

It was an excellent buy. Imagine how many plastic disposable toothbrushes it has replaced! Since we're supposed to change our toothbrush every 12-16 weeks, , that's a savings of between 20-26 toothbrushes. If each toothbrush costs $3, that's $80 in disposable toothbrushes, with an overall savings of nearly $51. The brush heads last a lot longer than disposable brushes. I got a package of 8 brush-heads on sale for $14, and I've used 3 of them over 6 years (disinfecting in rubbing alcohol occasionally). So take the cost of the brush heads used from the amount saved over 6 years, and it's still a savings of nearly $46 over $6.

I'm not great at math, but I know value when I see it. This rechargeable toothbrush is great value.
