Started out slow and the dialogue could have used a lot more work; it was cringy and the flirting made me laugh out loud (not in a good way). The rest was just full of exposition. The MC's observational skills didn't make much sense either. She profiled people with things she couldn't possibly have known. Imagine Sherlock Holmes if Sherlock just took shots in the dark with no reason or evidence to his deductions. In other words, it was very forced and unrealistic. I didn't bother to finish it, so maybe the plot is good, but you'd have to overlook some bad writing.

I did enjoy this book in the end, but it's not the most polished story. I liked the plot, but the writing let it down in places. I read it in a couple of days and it was definitely a page turner, but some of it seemed unbelievable and rushed. It would have been a great book with some better editing. I will probably read the others in the series as it was entertaining and the protagonist is quite likeable. But by far, the best free book I've read so I can't complain.

To long to get to the chase...I love the books but this one spent 3/4 on appearance than sped to the rest in a couple of chapters. I guess I'm used to reading the faster pace his books usually offer, it still was nice after you got aggrevated with the heroin for being wrapped up in her own little long winded world...the punchline came to late. I read across multiple books and characters...this is the weakest link
