The California Air Tools® ultra-quiet air compressor is designed to be one of the quietest 2-horsepower air compressors in the industry, having only 70 decibels of sound. The powerful motor operates at only 1,680 RPM, creating less noise and less wear. The oil-free dual piston pump system is engineered for longevity and high performance and durability. It’s been independently tested for a minimum pump life of 3,000 hours before service is required. The 10-gallon air tank with a wheel kit makes moving and storing very easy. Because of the high air delivery, this air compressor can be used with many tools, including nail guns, engraving tools, spray guns, air drills, air wrenches, CNC machines, and many other air-driven tools. This air compressor is ideal for anyone working in a shop, lab, garage, or any area where noise is a major issue and high air delivery is required!

  • Ultra quiet at only 70 dB
  • Oil-free pump for less maintenance and costs
  • 10-gal. steel tank with wheels
  • Portable, easy to store, and weighs 88 lb
  • Powerful 2-HP (rated/running) motor
  • 7 CFM at 40 PSI
  • 5.30 CFM at 90 PSI
  • 125 max PSI
  • Low 14-amp draw (110V 60 Hz)
  • Takes 120 seconds to fill the tank
  • 3,000-hour pump for longest pump life and greater value

Oiled compressors might be preferable in this size range, however I don’t think you can get an oiled one that is this quiet.
Note: Rebate is in the form of a merchandise credit check which may only be redeemed in store. For those that shop at Menards all the time, the credit check is as good as cash. For those who don’t like rebates, the price is still pretty good at $249. Marked as B&M because their shipping and processing fees would be prohibitive if you can’t get it in store.
