Commentary: I pre-ordered a Ryzen 1700X for $399 and just returned it for an i7-7700k (for $310 no tax plus a MSI Z270 SLI mother board for $100 AC, AR no tax from Newegg which both somehow arrived the next day to NYC–thanks Slickdeals). I personally decided to go with the Intel chip because virtually all Photoshop tasks are slightly threaded and run a lot faster on the Intel: https://www.pugetsystem
Edit: sorry for confusing post earlier. I guess the mods edited it to focus only on the 7700k deal and not the Ryzen deal because another Micro Center deal post went live just about the same time.
