25% Transfer bonus when transferring hotel points to American Airlines

From now until June 15th, 2017, American Airlines will add an additional 25% bonus points when you convert your hotel miles to AA.
The most notable conversion would be from SPG. You already earn a 5,000 point bonus when transferring 20,000 SPG points to an airline. During this promotion, you’ll earn an additional 25% from American Airlines, 6,250 bonus miles. (when transferring 20k SPG chunks)
That means your 20,000 SPG point will convert to a total of 31,250 AAdvantage miles. (56% net bonus)
You can also transfer from Marriott to SPG at a 3:1 ratio. Your 60,000 Marriott points would ultimately net you 31,250 AA miles during this promo.
SPG points take about 2 days to post in AA, then add an additional 7 days to receive the 25% bonus.
