Buydig is offering LG’s new 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray for $180. No tax in AZ. I think there is no tax for buyers outside Jersey. Lowest price I’ve seen from an authorized (or unauthorized, for that matter) dealer. Personally paid about $35 more a few weeks ago that I thought was a good deal at the time. Retails for $270 – $300 if memory serves. Some complaints about noise from the disc player, but I haven’t personally noticed it or have the issues some have reported. And it otherwise works great for me — HDR is excellent. Currently, there are limited apps — just Netflix and YouTube–both stream 4k HDR. I don’t know if they’re planning on expanding it or not. Dolby Vision will be available via a firmware update, reported to be due sometime this summer, so it should be able to play new Dolby Vision discs that are now just starting to hit the market.
