NOTE 0: There is a new Office Depot OfficeMax Rewards program that begins on 07/01/2017. This offer appears to straddle the end of the old Rewards program and the beginning of the new Rewards Program. Purchases from 06/25/2017 – 06/30/2017 should qualify for the old Rewards program. Purchases on 07/01/2017 should qualify for the new Rewards Program.

The terms of the old Rewards program do not apply if you are in a pilot program or the Business Rewards program. The pilots I know of are for the Dallas area and the Denver/Nashville areas. Please see your Rewards account for the terms and conditions for those programs. I expect that the pilots will be converted into the new Rewards program as of 07/01/2017.

Notes for the old Rewards program:
Note 1: This is a percentage back in Bonus Rewards offer. Percentage back in rewards offers pay out in points which are subject to 1000 point / $10 payout increments. The percentage back in Bonus Rewards points will be noted in the "Purchase Details" of the transaction in the Rewards Account "Purchase History" when the transactions posts which should be a day or two after the order ships. The Rewards Certificates from all points offers will be made available in the middle of the month in the month following the purchase.
Example: Assume a purchase price of $14.89 each. A purchase of one pack at $14.89 earns 1489 points which will result in $10 in Rewards and no carryover as June is the end of quarter. A purchase of two packs at $14.89 each earns 2978 points which will result in $20 in Rewards and no carryover as June is the end of quarter.
Note 2: Non paid out points carry over from month to month till the end of the quarter. If you purchase in June, the end of the quarter is 06/30/2017 so there will be no carry over to July. If you purchase in July, please see the "Notes for the new Rewards program below.
Note 3: Per the terms of the program, Rewards earned — and hence Rewards payouts — are reduced by the extent the rewards purchase is paid for with Rewards, coupons or Merchandise Cards.

Note 1: The terms and conditions of the new Rewards progam have not been released. The new Rewards program is being advertised as "All rewards paid out. Whether you earn $100 or a penny, you get rewarded." so apparently there are no payout points increments as in the old Rewards program. One other main difference is that Rewards are paid out quarterly.
