Discover – 3% cashback for 6 months and/or 0% APR for 12 months YMMV

I was able to score both the 3% CB for 6 months upto $1500 and 0% APR for 12 months.
First I called in and asked the rep if I had any promos other than the 5% rotating categories. I was told no but then I asked if there are any APR promos. She then transferred me to an APR specialist and then I was given the 0% APR promo. I then said that a friend received a 3% CB promo and if I qualified for that. She said yes and gave me 3% CB for 6 months upto $1500. Looks like some on the DOC page received 3% upto $2500 so its really a crapshoot.
I think you will need to speak to and APR specialist to get the 3% CB. The front line reps won’t be able to give that to you.
