Target’s pricing for the Note8 is lower than most places at $901. So, effectively $901 – $200 GC – $200 billing credit = $501 + tax (on $901).

Note: The Target mobile staff made me purchase a SquareTrade monthly protection plan ($7.99/month) in order to get the gift card. I did not see this as part of the fine print for the offer, but they wouldn’t let me proceed without this. I didn’t argue too much because they insisted I could cancel the protection plan the next day for a full refund, but it was still annoying.
