Unfortunately, their website is not the easiest to use but it looks like that’s the only area you can get travel availability from. Google flights won’t pull up Air China. Once in Air China’s site, plug in destination & dates, it will pull up a calendar view (see one of the image below) and when you get the hang of it, it will be worth the savings. Once you find available dates, you may either book directly with Air China or Orbitz .
My samples below shows SJC-TPE for less than $499 RT. However, it is a 34 hour flight only because the layover in Shanghai is 21 hours long, both ways. Two trips in one if you have the time.
