My guess is they are closing these out (older models that have been around for several years). Still a great little system for someone starting out that covers all the basics. I have this and the STR-DN1050 from Sony, along a Yahama RX-A3070. While they lack the power of the much more expensive Yahama, Sony’s UI is very good, and the sound quality, despite the cheaper parts, is very good.
