Be gentle, I don’t often find what I consider to be deals. The granberg alaskan chainsaw mill allows you to use your chainsaw to turn logs into boards for wood working projects or construction material. There are many imitation models which look of almost of the same design, but this is from the company who invented it and its USA made. I believe the only difference between the prior version (the Mark III) and the Mark IV is one of the cross bars appears to be aluminum and stiffer:

After some research here’s the analysis:
The g777 and g778 are almost identical. The only differences are the fact that the g778 has an end chain saw enclosure and an extra bar which helps stabilize the frame and prevent it from racking. They are so similar that they actually sell a g777 to g778 conversion kit.
The g778 models come in different flavors- but also virtually the same. For pretty much everything between the 24" and the 56" model, the only difference is 2 square bars, and one round bar. Longer than that, there are a few extra support pieces.
You can actually attach any length chainsaw to any under 56" model- meaning you can attach a 24" model to a 18" chain saw, or a 36" model to an 18" chainsaw- the difference only being the overhang of the bars to the side.
The g777 doesn’t have that end piece. You could in theory run it with the long bars and just hook it up like the g777, and I think it would probably work fine. (minus a plexi glass piece).
the 24" model goes for 178, (with prime) but the 30" model is 259, and there is a 36" model which is not prime but goes for 188.
I went for the 36" model, no prime, no tax
