Bird, the electric motorized scooter company, offers free helmets to all active Bird riders via their mobile application. You must live in a current Bird market: Santa Monica, Venice, San Diego, San Jose, San Francisco, Austin, and Washington, DC.
I downloaded the app and was able to claim a free helmet without ever using their service. Download the app and go to Main Menu > Safety > Get Free Helmet. I ordered the helmet on Tuesday and it arrived today. It’s this model .
