Was in the market for a new dryer and found that Fry’s has a clearance going on with free local delivery (although it does not appear to include haul away).

A few more where they are already sold out on local delivery, but you may find some in your local store for pickup. These models regularly went at $700-900.
Keep in mind, apparently most of the negative reviews center on the tendency for Samsung dryers to suffer from a drum crack. I don’t know how prevalent it really is, but enough that I was a little worried. I ended up getting an LG for $499 because I had heard that LG tended to have better reliability overall (and Samsung some of the worst in the realm of electric dryers). But who knows, maybe I ended up paying a bit more for something that’s just about as likely to be a lemon anyway!
