Last week and again this week (1/20-1/26), Target’s online prices for Turbotax Deluxe and State and Home and Business (retail box) are less than their advertised in store prices. In addition, they are offering 10% off via Cartwheel through 2/16. Also this week, all TT purchases qualify for a $5 Target GC for future purchases. These deals are ONLY available for in store purchases and not online; I did not try the in-store pickup option, ymmv.
Examples:
Deluxe and State : in store price $49.99 / online price $39.99 – $5 GC – 10% off = $31.49 net price (plus tax)
Home and Business : in store price $84.99 / online price $64.99 – $5 GC – 10% off = $53.99 net price (plus tax)
NOTES:
-The 10% off coupon is applied AFTER the $5 GC cost is factored in.
-Other TT editions seem to be the same price in store and online.
To get these deals:
1. If needed, download the Target/Cartwheel App to your smartphone and create an account.
2. Click "Cartwheel offers", then "Tech & Entertainment". Find the TT 10% off coupon and add it to your Cartwheel wallet. Bring your smartphone to the store.
3. Go to Target and pickup a TT retail box. Bring the TT box to Customer Service and ask for a price match to the Target online price.
4. Have them scan your Cartwheel barcode on your phone.
