PSA – Subscribe & Save Missing Discounts

I strongly suggest that if you have Subscribe & Save items and have put 5 or more in to get the 15% discount that you look very closely before letting it be processed/charged to your account.
Over the month I put 8 items in my monthly S&S basket, if you will, and on March 1st I was asked to review my orders. What I noticed this time, and quite possibly missed before, was that only 2 showed the 15% discount and the other 6 only showed the original 5% discount.
When I contacted Amazon and asked Why, they responded that having reviewed my Subscribe & Save orders they agreed that all of them qualified for the 15% discount but that I would need to let the orders be processed as is and then once shipped I would then be given a refund for the difference – but they didn’t answer the question and if I hadn’t noticed the problem they wouldn’t have done anything except increase their profits.
Now I have to go back through all of my Subscribe & Save orders and see if they have cheated me before and I suggest you look at yours to make sure you haven’t been cheated as well.
