New LIDL in my area so I went in the store and saw this ad.
Large Boxes of diapers are $5.99 ea limit 6 per customer.
• size 3 – 96 ct. 6.2cents/diaper
• size 4 – 82 ct. 7.3cents/diaper
• size 5 – 70 ct. 8.5cents/diaper
• size 6 – 60 ct 10cents/diaper
Wife and I were together so we picked up 8 boxes for $50 (with filler item), and had a store coupon for $10 off $50 that are sent to us in the mail each month (possibly since the LIDL is new). They had a ton of each size in stock in store. YMMV since store will need them in stock + LIDL seems to be only a middle east coast store (South Caroina up to New York)
So we ended up with 768 diapers for $40+tax for size 3s, unit price of 5.2 cents/diaper + tax (YMMV with store coupon). Even without its a very good deal for diapers. at about 6.3 cents/diaper for size 3s. No experience with LIDL brand but free returns with receipt per store manager when asked if kid doesn’t agree with them.
Some research shows they sold them at a similar price about a year ago. This is even cheaper then the from last year IMO which is just about the best diaper deal I have seen. Happy hunting.
