Those of you interested in the new Ring Smart Lighting, which is available for Preorder and shipping on May 15th, I’m getting 2 discounts when I purchase through the Ring.com store. You must be a Protection Plan Subscriber to get the discount (normally 10%). Normal price for the Smart Lighting Floodlight Wired is $69.99 and $49.99 for the Bridge. Ring is offering the Kit for $89.99 ($20 off), plus I’m getting a $9.00 discount, plus another $8.09 discount, bringing the total to $72.90 + tax. I cancelled my Best Buy preorder and ordered this, essentially getting the Bridge for $2.91.
For those wondering what this is… Ring is coming out with a bunch of different lights without the cameras. They tie in with the Ring ecosystem, but are less expensive where placement doesn’t require a camera. The Bridge connects devices, so that a different device can trigger the light. These are shipping in 5 days, so not too long of a preorder.
