Insignia Connect – discontinued product compensation (cameras/freezers/smart plugs)

I went to use my WiFi plug today, and got a popup from the app saying they were getting discontinued. The app directed me to a website that asks you for your serial number, and says you may be eligible for compensation. I filled out the form for my wifi plug and the website said they’d reply within 3 business days with my compensation amount. Supposedly they’ll be sending a Best Buy eGift card.
Not sure how much it’ll be (didn’t figure it would be much), but figured I should mention it in case anybody here had one of the discontinued products.
