Intel Core i7-9700K Coffee Lake 3.6 GHz LGA 1151 Boxed Processor listed at $299.99 at my local Micro Center store. The only "catch" seems to be that you have to pick it up in the store. I don’t know if this is the price at all Micro Center brick and mortar locations or if this is a YMMV. For reference, this price is at the Fairfax, VA store.
You can further lower the price another $30 by bundling with an eligible motherboard.
I believe this is the lowest price I’ve ever seen on this processor, though my guess is that we’re getting ready for Intel to release the next generation of desktop processors. From everything I’ve read, it will be a minor update this year (no 10nm processors) and is likely set for a Jan 2020 release. Or perhaps the sale prices are the result of competition from AMD… Either way, good news for consumers I suppose!
