This Racor ladder lift has been holding around $53 for a while. You can probably pick up on ebay for close to this price, but $40 at Amazon is the best I’ve seen for a while.
You can certain build one instead, but be sure to use a double pulley to get the right mechanical advantage to actually make it a one person job.
