YMMV LG SmartThinQ QuadWash 44-Decibel Wifi Dishwasher Alexa Google Home YMMV $269.1

Normal retail price when it was a current (non-discontinued model) was around $1,040, so this is a freaking bargain if you find one at this price.
Needed a new dishwasher, already had this one on my list. Just ordered it yesterday w/ free delivery (free within 45 mile radius) for $269. Obviously I haven’t even received it yet, but I cannot wait to get it and test it out.
Dishwasher has Wifi, works with Alexa and Google Home, has three racks, three spray arms, can run just a half a load if only a few dishes are dirty, has LED lights inside of the tub (very handy when issues arise and you have to identify issues inside the tub). It is hardwired.

Check Brickseek for your local inventory and prices:

  • Lowe’s Inventory on Brickseek is EXTREMELY accurate when it comes to appliances.
  • If Brickseek says this model in stock, it PROBABLY is.
  • More than likely, since it’s discontinued, it’s likely been pushed into a corner or a hard to reach area. It will probably take someone about 10 to 15 minutes to actually find the dishwasher once they begin the hunt.

If you’re uncertain of what to say if you want to call and check to see if it is in stock, here’s my very detailed and precise method:
CALLING TO CONFIRM IN-STOCK STATUS:

  • Call the store.
  • Sound confident.
  • GET THEIR NAME (Write it down!)
  • Provide the UPC to identify the model, breaking it up into three 4-digit sections (0482 3102 5027), then follow with model number LDT7797BM.
    • ?L
    • D as in Dog
    • T as in Tom
    • 7797
    • B as in Boy
    • M as in Mary
  • Inform the employee HAS BEEN discontinued, and Lowe’s no longer carries this model, but their store’s inventory is reporting one in stock, and suggest that he/she (employee) will likely need a few minutes to find it because it’s probably buried (or something to that effect).
  • Offer to have them call you back so that they have can do a thorough search for the dishwasher, provide phone number, and double check the employee’s name!

If they don’t find it, call the store back and ask for a manager (any manager, but the higher up the better). Just express to the manager that you didn’t get the feeling that the employee was thorough enough, that you’re certain it is in stock, and that you would like for someone with more experience to do a more thorough search.
This is the most effective method (I’ve found) for being absolutely CERTAIN that that dishwasher is 100% not there. When I called the other day, I did have to call twice, but it was worth it!
There are a number of them out there at this price. I live in North Central Florida, I did a quick search of the Florida/Georgia area, and there were at least 10 locations reporting at least one in stock.
I hope this helps anyone else who needs a dishwasher. I was jumping for joy when they called me back and said that they had it and that it qualified for free delivery when they’re 45 minutes away!
HAPPY HUNTING!
